The Catcher In The Rye Ch 5

In Chapter 5 of The Catcher In Yvette Rye,  we learn more aboug Holden's relationships towards himself and others. We learn or discover he's closer to Akley than we had expected. We're introduce to a few new characters like a close friend and a younger brother.  Sadly, his younger brother by two years dies on July 18, 1946, after battling leukemia. Holden describes him as an intelligent red haired boy who received positive feedback by everyone he came across with. The other character whom we're introduced with is Mal Brossard, a wrestler, who seems to be close with Holden and somewhat Akley.
